DEED RESTRICTION

In order to maintain the spirit and community Trailview intended, there is a restriction on resale pricing which is intended to maintain Trailview’s affordability over time. Hence, when reselling a Trailview home, the Whitefish Housing Authority will limit maximum sales price based on a 3% annual appreciation rate of the purchase price.


Construction loan Options

In order to expedite the development of a Trailview home, one can opt to get a construction loan as another alternative to waiting for the completion of a home. Going this route gives the buyer a few interesting incentives:

  1. Priority over home selection and location.

  2. Waitlist priority.

  3. Cost savings. By getting a construction loan, incentives exist that benefit the buyer.

  4. Have input on some finishing options.
